Cornwall was awarded an Enterprise Zone in August 2011 and was officially launched at the 2012 Farnborough Air Show - titled Aerohub at Newquay Cornwall Airport.

In a fantastic location by the Cornish coast, the Aerohub Enterprise Zone is about creating new opportunities and jobs for Cornwall, the South West and the UK. Aerohub will be a catalyst for economic growth in Cornwall, building on a key regional asset, Cornwall Airport Newquay. 

Aerohub extends to 263Ha (650 acres) in several airport development zones and a major Business Park, which will accommodate over 2,000,000ft2 of hangar space, offices and manufacturing, as well as 5,000 jobs.  This ideal setting could really help your business grow by benefiting from what's here.

Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly Local Enterprise Partnership Enterprise Zone lead governing body.

Cornwall Council Owner of the airport and the surrounding land. Responsible for lease/purchase negotiations and overall economic development.

Cornwall Airport Limited Responsible for ensuring the Civil Aviation Authority and other regulatory and operational requirements are met. Main lead on aerospace activities.

Cornwall Development Company Commissioned to deliver the Enterprise Zone on behalf of the LEP, via the Aerohub Enterprise Zone team, responsible for marketing, inward investment and project delivery.
